The restaurant’s location on Via Maqueda offers a charming setting, making it a favored spot among both locals and visitors. I'm a bit of a pasta snob and this was literally the best carbonara of my life. I've had authentic roman pasta from world renowned chefs, and this was 10/10. Situated right on via maqueda, you might miss it if you walk too fast....and that would be a terrible mistake!
Delicious traditional food, small menu but just perfect, it's more than enough for vegetarians as well! Friendly, warm and funny staff. Moderate prices. Toootally recommend this place and would definitely go back if in Palermo!
This was such a great experience! The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The pasta and food were fresh and they had Gluten Free pasta available. The sodas were locally made with fresh organic ingredients. The atmosphere was unique and pleasing. Would highly recommend!
Very nice restaurant on the pedestrian street right near the Opera house. It's a great setting and very nicely managed. The people watching is top notch! I had a delicious olive and anchovy appetizer, but it was a heck more olives than anchovies or sharp cheese. My pasta dish (farfalle con funghi) was tasty. I did expect a little bit more a flavor, but sometimes I get carried away with expectations. I ate every bite. The service is very good with lots of attention but not anything intrusive. The prices are also very good, especially for a superb touristy location. I'll definitely return!
The restaurant had some amazing food, and I really enjoyed the meal I had. The flavors were well-balanced, and each dish was prepared with care, clearly by someone who loves to cook. Everything tasted fresh, from the appetizers to the desserts, making me want to come back. I would recommend checking out the restaurant if you're looking for a delicious experience!
Cute place, tiny, but they accommodated us. Clean restroom. Pasta was quite good, homemade. Prices are typical of this area, mid level. Nice experience overall.
